2. Artist's Palette

The owner of a three-room apartment and happy mother of three children is an artist herself, so the team led by Nadia Zотовa received a carte blanche for a vibrant experiment. As a result, the entrance hall became pumpkin-orange, the bedroom was painted bright blue, and the kitchen-dining room took on a marsala tone. No room is without art.

She painted the walls in a cool yet vibrant color of ocean waves, added terracotta and deep blue, just a little olive green and coral – and now it's hard to tell how many rooms there actually are in this apartment.

4. The Magic of Blue Color

Inna Velichko used the magic of blue color to unite different spaces into one whole. She even managed to convince the clients to try an experiment – paint not only one wall but also the ceiling of a narrow corridor in a saturated blue. And a miracle happened: the ceiling seemed lower, the walls spread apart, and the proportions of the corridor became much better.

5. Cozy Atmosphere in Dark Tones

When the client and project author are schoolmates, the task is phrased differently. It's not about «designing a unified flowing space with proper zoning», but rather to renovate the apartment so it feels elegant and cozy. The concepts of coziness for architect Ilya Nasonov and his client match, so the walls are painted in complex dark tones inspired by traditional English interiors.
