The kitchen area in a house of series II-68-01/16 is 7.9 square meters. According to the architect, this is quite enough to place a kitchen cabinet and household appliances. There are at least three convenient furniture arrangement options for such a small kitchen. 

Arranging the kitchen cabinet in a "G" shape provides convenient access to the work zone and space for a dining table for four people. There is room for food storage and appliances: as you can see, we managed to fit in a refrigerator, cooktop, oven, and full-size dishwasher. 

Expert opinion: You can legalize the kitchen layout if you do not plan to change the floor covering by using a simplified approval system — just submit a sketch.

For those who love cooking, we recommend a P-shaped kitchen cabinet with a bar counter. This kitchen configuration allows you to cook and interact with family or guests. The work triangle is convenient: the cooktop, refrigerator, and sink with a dishwasher — all within reach. A side cabinet can be placed next to the bar counter for additional dish storage. 

Expert opinion: This layout can be approved with a sketch. However, if you are changing the floor covering, you will need to prepare a project and obtain a technical conclusion from any project organization that has the appropriate SRO permit.

This option is for those who like to look out the window while preparing lunch or washing dishes. A convenient work triangle is provided by a cooktop on an island and a dishwasher next to the sink. The lack of upper cabinets on the wall by the window is compensated for by a tall cabinet that spans the entire wall to the left of the entrance.

Expert opinion: Installing a kitchen cabinet by the window will require relocating the heating radiator to an adjacent wall. Approval will require a project and technical conclusion from any project organization that has the appropriate SRO permit.
