Are you still looking for ideas for a Scandinavian interior on Pinterest? A big missed opportunity. Take a look at this post – a wealth of ideas and inspiration from designers is guaranteed

Projects of apartments in Scandinavian style are always interesting to look at: some designers skillfully reproduce the northern style in interiors, others allow themselves bold experiments. Today we have selected 5 works that truly deserve your attention.

1. Pastel Tones and IKEA Furniture

This interior with a mint-colored sofa from IKEA in the living room is one of our favorite projects. Designer Marina Sarkisyan did not opt to decorate a typical apartment in a panel house in the best traditions of Scandinavian style, but allowed herself freedom of interpretation. Agree, this is more interesting than blindly following the canons.

2. Natural Materials, Textures and Light

Not just an apartment, but a classic example of Scandinavian design by Evgeniya Lykasova! Parquet flooring, brick masonry, aged wooden planks on the walls, Metro tiles and lots of light – the project is so Scandinavian that it seems like you're looking out from the windows at a panorama not of Minsk, but of Stockholm.

3. Isolated Rooms and Bright Colors

Another project, whose designer Alena Yudina, is not interested in repeating what has already been done by many others. Instead of an open-plan layout, isolated rooms are preserved here, and neutral tones and regular paint are not used everywhere. The first gave way to bright saturated colors, the second – to decorative wooden panels.

4. Large Area and Budget-Friendly Ideas

"Economy and functionality are two main conditions for creating an interior in the northern style. Scandinavians are very practical people," – says Alexey Kovyazin. In his project of an 85 square meter apartment, the designer not only created a very convenient layout but also clearly showed that finishes should be made of natural materials, furniture – transformable, and decor – simple and original at the same time. We support!

5. Small Apartment with a Platform

It seems like the apartment is located somewhere in Europe. In reality, it is a project of a Moscow studio apartment with an area of 34 square meters for a young family with a child. Here there are hidden storage systems, a platform where a double bed is concealed, and a fireplace in the wall... Do you think miracles end here? Not at all!
