Step 1: Calculate the Coverage Area

1. Measure the maximum length and width of the room. Add 10 cm to each measurement. Don't forget to account for protrusions, space under furniture, windows and doors. When matching patterns, calculate the material quantity so that there is a surplus for one pattern repeat in each direction.

Step 2: Preparation for Installation

1. Unroll the roll and lay out the covering in the room, leaving a 5 to 10 cm excess along the baseboards.

2. Stretch the covering, smoothing it by hand in the direction opposite to the walls. Ensure that it covers the entire surface.

3. Cut the corners (straight cut) so that the covering fits tightly against the walls.

Step 3: Installing Linoleum Without Adhesive

Installation without adhesive is suitable for rooms with an area not exceeding 12 square meters or low-traffic areas.

1. Prepare the linoleum for installation by stretching it across the entire room surface.

2. Cut the material along the baseboards using a utility knife.

3. Secure thresholds in doorways.

Adhesive with Double-Sided Tape

1. Before placing the linoleum on the floor, apply double-sided tape across the entire room area and perimeter, leaving the protective paper on top of the tape.

2. Unroll the roll and prepare the linoleum for installation. Fold one half of the covering over the other half. Remove the protective paper from the double-sided tape on the floor area where you will start installation. Unfold and lay out the linoleum again, stretching it toward the walls and smoothing it by hand.
