Architect Vishwesh Panchal is at the forefront of this project, highlighting a career dedicated to sustainable practices and innovative design solutions. As a LEED-certified professional, Panchal's architectural achievements include significant public projects such as the San Felipe de Austin Visitors Center and Texas A&M University's Heritage Hall for Lord Aeck Sargent (LAS), as well as award-winning school renovation projects in the Manor Independent School District and Travis County Courthouse preservation, all located in Austin, Texas. These efforts underscore Panchal's holistic approach to architecture, emphasizing ecological impact, community wellbeing, and aesthetic appeal in creating spaces that inspire and resonate with the human experience.

In the Kingsway project, Panchal, as part of Arcadis' team, faced unique challenges posed by existing structures, particularly the iconic L-shaped office building 'Telus South,' a visual landmark of the city since the mid-1970s. Overcoming site complexities required creativity and a rigorous approach to design development that optimized the plot's potential both technically and strategically. Panchal’s planning work for the project harmoniously aligned with the district's architectural identity, highlighting its aesthetics and functionality. The Kingsway South Phase project includes two high-rise buildings with 31 and 38 floors respectively, providing approximately 724 rental residences. The Kingsway South Phase in Central Park is expected to be completed by 2025, promising a blend of modern design and sustainable principles that will shape the future skyline of Burnaby.
