Chacakul House by 0studio Arquitectura

The Chacakul House, designed by 0studio Arquitectura in Chacala, Mexico, is an elegant and linear work of art on the coast of Nayarit. The design consists of two solid forms connected by a bridge that acts as a connecting element between the volumes through an elegant brick mesh. Responding to the client's program, public spaces are located on the first level while private areas are situated on the second level.

The Chacakul House is located on a unique site along the coast of Nayarit, Mexico. Its design was created based on a simple and elegant linear scheme. There are two solid volumes connected by a bridge that serves as the connecting element between these two volumes thanks to the brick grid. The client's specific program request helped us divide public areas between the first and private zones on the second level.

Some impressive trees were present on the site, which needed to be respected. We decided to embrace them as the main protagonists in what we call "the merger of man and landscape." This context allowed us to achieve the desired result.

The Chacakul House mainly changes form due to constant natural light and shadows created by its natural surroundings.

Built using local materials, the color of the Chacakul House is created by mixing cement and natural soil. This helps blend the building into its natural environment.

Our main interest was to develop a project that connects the user with the surrounding context of the building, providing freedom and an authentic natural feeling.
