Floating Christmas Tree from Balloons
With the arrival of Christmas holidays, everyone starts thinking about the Christmas tree. The green beauty can be bought and, bringing it home, decorated. Or you can make it yourself. In the latter case, there are many options to unleash your creativity: the tree can be paper, wire, made from raindrops or sewn from fabric. We offer you another very unusual variant of a Christmas tree — a floating tree made of balloons. It is not that hard to make it, but it will amaze guests and be remembered for a long time. After the holidays, it is easy to disassemble and store until next year.
Let's see what we need to make such an original Christmas wonder. Required materials and tools:
- a round grid (an old grill rack will do);
- Christmas tree balloons;
- strong wire;
- pliers and wire cutters;
- about 2 chains;
- string;
- attachments and clips.

When everything is ready, you can start working. Begin with the base by securely fastening the wire in several places on the grid so that small loops are formed. It is important to ensure that the wire attachments are symmetrical, otherwise the grid will tilt. Divide the chain into 4 equal parts and secure them to the wire using carabiners. The free ends of the chains are tied together at one point and also attached to a carabiner.

Now that our base is ready, cut the string for hanging the balloons into pieces. It's better to make several types of string cuttings of different lengths. At the ends of the strings, make loops that can be securely fastened using clips. Then hang the balloons on the string to the grid using hooks. If you don't have any hooks, you can use turned paper clips.

To make a composition of balloons beautiful and harmonious, do not hang the balloons randomly. Experiment and choose a pattern according to which you should hang the balloons.

That's it — our original hanging Christmas tree is ready. You can use either identical balloons of the same color or very different ones in color and shape. If you want to use different kinds of Christmas ornaments, it's best to limit yourself to just 2-3 types. Such an interesting composition can not only replace a natural winter guest but also serve as a complement to it. Besides, this is a suitable option not only for an apartment or home but even for an office or another workspace.
