6 clever solutions in eurotrash style that you can replicate too
Ideas that made the interior comfortable, cohesive and light
Modern renovation does not always require a complete re-planning and large investments: sometimes it's enough to find unconventional solutions within the framework of a standard apartment. This happened in this project from Yekaterinburg, where the designer decorated the interior from scratch, preserving the developer's finishing.
The main task was to create a comfortable living space for a young couple and their ginger cat. And we've gathered six practical tips that you should definitely note down.
Mobile Kitchen Island
Due to the radiator by the window, it was not possible to install a stationary island as originally planned. But instead, there appeared another, even more convenient solution — an island on wheels. It can be easily moved to free up access to the radiator or create an additional workspace where needed.

The kitchen backsplash is made of ceramic granite and continues onto the hallway walls, visually uniting two spaces. The solution gives a sense of unity in the interior and helps maintain a consistent style even with a small budget.
Design: Valentina IvlevaCombination of white and wooden cabinets
The contrast between the upper white cabinets and lower wooden-style doors makes the kitchen light yet warm. The white top visually expands the space, while the wooden base adds coziness: this combination can already be considered a classic of modern kitchens.
Design: Valentina IvlevaAesthetic cylindrical hood
Instead of conventional models, the designer opted for a minimalist cylindrical hood in white. It does not draw attention, does not fragment the space, and perfectly fits into the calm minimalist composition of the kitchen.
Design: Valentina IvlevaWarm color palette with accent touches
A neutral base of wood and light stone is enhanced with vibrant but restrained accents: glass mugs in honey color, expressive vase, and a painting of bread. These elements create a sense of life and add individuality.
Design: Valentina IvlevaMinimal visual clutter
Smooth facades, hidden handles and lack of unnecessary decoration allow the interior to "breathe". The space looks calm, modern and uncluttered, even despite the rich texture of wood and bright accents. Moreover, all cat-related elements were seamlessly integrated into the interior: his houses became part of the living room.
Design: Valentina IvlevaThe project proves: even in a standard eurotrash, you can create a stylish and comfortable space without re-planning and minimal investment. It's enough to combine functionality with aesthetics, not fear mobile solutions, and remember that it's the little details that give character to design.
