Even in a rental apartment, you can create a kitchen that you'll want to remember

In this Simferopol trash apartment, the kitchen was decorated with consideration for the needs of future tenants: it should be neutral, memorable, and practical. Designer Tatiana Petrova solved the task boldly: on one side, basic white cabinetry and built-in appliances, and on the other — vibrant emerald tile, floristic prints, and open wooden sections that add coziness.

At first glance, this is just a cozy kitchen with white cabinetry. But if you linger a bit longer, it becomes clear: this is where the main energy of the project is concentrated.

Vibrant green tile on the apron instantly revives the space, setting the tone for the entire apartment. The characteristic "fir tree" tiling pattern and rich emerald hue add depth to the interior, while floristic motifs on the range hood support the botanical theme running through the project.

The kitchen was custom-made, which allowed even complex elements to be incorporated — a gas meter, boiler, and washing machine. All are hidden behind cabinetry with no visual clutter: the space looks clean, stylish, and functional at the same time.

Upper cabinets extend to the ceiling, making full use of every centimeter of height. For open niches, wood inserts were used: they add warmth to the composition and visually soften the contrast between white and green.

Special attention was paid to the range hood: it is disguised in a box with a gentle plant print. This decorative element is rarely seen in standard interiors, and it's precisely what transforms the kitchen from typical to artistic. Cabinetry is done in classical style with panels.

The work triangle was carefully planned: the stove, sink, and refrigerator are placed conveniently, all within reach. Despite limited space, there's room for a full cooking block, built-in oven, and spacious drawers.

A light granite-like countertop completes the composition — it unifies all elements into a cohesive visual image.
