How to Make Interior Visually More Expensive: 5 Simple and Effective Ideas
Secrets of stylish decoration from a professional project
When creating interiors, it's important not only to follow fashion trends but also to skillfully combine materials, colors, and decorative elements. We offer simple and effective solutions from the homestaging project of Anastasia Dubovskaya, which will help make your interior look more expensive and sophisticated.
Contrast and Textural Variety
One of the key aspects of a successful interior is the use of contrast and mixing different materials. To create volume, we used various textures: linen and cotton in the bed and decorative pillows with boucle fabric in the living room area. Wall paintings imitating stucco above the sofa and contrasting wood tones in the finishing and furniture added depth and expressiveness to the interior.

Beautiful Color Solution
The choice of color palette has great importance in how space is perceived. For example, olive green combined with terracotta creates an impressive contrast that can be transformed from light to rich dark tones. The bedroom in a lighter tone looks fresh and cozy, while the dark, intimate tones with wine accents in the living room create an atmosphere of intimacy and warmth.

Natural Elements
Including natural elements adds special volume and individuality to the interior. The symbol of this project is olive wood, reflected in shades, paintings, textiles, and decorative pillows. This element brings warmth and harmony into the space, making the interior look more expensive and interesting.

Thoughtful Lighting
Lighting is an important aspect that can dramatically change how any room is perceived. With its help, you can create a beautiful accent and illusion of more space. In this project, the soft light from bedside lamps in the bedroom creates a relaxing atmosphere, while bright lighting in the bathroom emphasizes its functionality and aesthetics.

Art as the Final Touch
Without works of art, an interior risks becoming forgettable and banal. An original large-format painting is not just decoration but the 'icing on the cake', becoming the center of attention. For this project, the artist was commissioned a large abstract painting in the colors of the project. The wall in the living room is adorned with a textured modular artwork, and in the hallway, posters featuring olives are displayed.

As you can see, using simple techniques, even with a limited budget, you can create a stylish interior that looks expensive and prestigious.
