Bright Bathroom with Unusual Layout and Wall Graffiti
Stylish and budget-friendly solutions
This stylish bathroom was designed by designer Serafima Gavrilenko in a 40 sq. m flat for a young family couple. Despite the fact that the main color here was white, the interior still looks bright and original.

The floor features black-and-white tiles in a checkerboard pattern — a budget-friendly solution that looks stylish and modern. The walls were painted with light washable paint, and in wet zones, simple white square tiles were used for cladding. To prevent the walls from looking dull, the grout was done in red.

The bathroom has a complex shape, which determined the placement of plumbing fixtures. In the corner, a shower niche with a built-in tray was designed. Gold-colored fixtures add sophistication to the interior and create an atmosphere of luxury and comfort. Storage systems were installed above the fixtures, and access to utilities was concealed.

The highlight of the bathroom is the graffiti around the perimeter of the walls. It was specially created by a visiting artist. The sink cabinet was replaced with open wooden shelves. They break up the sterility of white and make the interior feel warm and cozy. Retro touches were added using a hanging vintage chandelier and a black mirror light fixture.
