6 Standing Ideas for Decorating a Small Studio
Keep great interior design hacks for your space
Designers from ADMstudio equipped a cozy small studio of 30 sq. m, providing all functional zones. They took minimalism as a base and added vibrant accents. We're showing great ideas from the project that definitely deserve your attention.
Neutral BackgroundThe apartment space unifies with a single color palette. White walls act as a neutral background that softens the boundaries and doesn't draw attention to the actual room size.
Blue AccentsFor the accent color, they chose a rich blue. They painted the bathroom door, radiators, and pipes in this color. The bedroom wall was also painted blue. The color extends to the side wall, ceiling, and back panel of one of the wardrobes, forming a visual blue niche.
Beautiful ZoningInteresting design solutions were used to separate functional zones. The kitchen was separated from the bedroom using a beautiful glass partition, the sleeping area was highlighted by color, and a small shelf served as a visual divider for the relaxation zone.
Compact FurnitureDue to the small area of the apartment, the furniture chosen was also compact. A small sofa with narrow armrests saves space. The dining table visually replaced a light bar counter, and compact bedside tables were placed next to the bed.
Smart Storage SolutionsDesigners maximized useful space. Wardrobe units serve both as a divider between the sleeping and entrance zones, and for storing items. Wall-mounted shelves above the bed, a shelf, bar counter with shelves, and bedside tables add storage possibilities.
Moderate DecorationMinimalism was followed in the decoration as well. An abundance of accessories and decorative elements can create a feeling of clutter in a small space. Pairs of glass vases with dried flowers and aromatherapy candles are enough to create a stylish atmosphere.
