A true oasis for life and work

In this article, we've gathered ideas for a stylish and functional interior that made this small apartment not only convenient but also cozy. Designer Anastasia Struve found a place for all necessary zones—from the kitchen-living room to two offices located on the balcony. The interior is filled with color, texture, and natural motifs inspired by Soviet greenhouses. Everything is thought out so that 49 m² feels comfortable for both working and relaxing. We share solutions from this apartment that you'll definitely want to replicate.

Multi-functional kitchen-living room with bright colors and textures

This kitchen-living room is not boring! A mix of materials—from glass blocks to tiles and moldings—adds depth and variety, creating the atmosphere of a botanical garden. The contrasting lighting on the bordeaux wall lifts the ceiling and visually expands the space.

Why it's worth replicating: this solution draws attention to details and creates a luxurious atmosphere even in a small room. The bright blue cabinet with an island-bar counter not only looks stylish but also provides additional storage.

Storage systems with mirrors

In the bedroom, built-in wardrobes and storage systems play not only a functional but also decorative role. Mirrors on the wardrobe fronts visually expand the space and add light, while colorful internal sections (green and yellow) make the interior even more interesting.

Why it's worth replicating: built-in storage systems allow optimal use of space and hide everything that shouldn't be visible. Mirror fronts make the space feel more spacious, which is especially important in small apartments.

Unique bathroom design

The bathroom is decorated like a greenhouse: the walls are adorned with plant-patterned wallpapers, and the structure resembling greenhouse doors is equipped with lighting and provides access to cleaning all surfaces. The green ceiling and terrazzo give the room a bright and stylish look.

Why it's worth replicating: a themed bathroom creates a special atmosphere and becomes one of the most memorable spaces in the apartment. Natural motifs and plant patterns always add freshness and help create a feeling of an oasis at home.

Two full working spaces on the balcony

Creating two offices on a narrow balcony is a true masterpiece of rationality. The workspaces are arranged mirror-image to each other. One is done in light tones and located in the kitchen-living room zone, while the other is darker and located in the bedroom. Glass blocks used as partitions create a feeling of lightness.

Why it's worth replicating: work zones can be organized even in the most unexpected places. A balcony with two offices is an excellent solution for those who often work from home and need privacy and comfort.

Dark accent in the entrance hall

The entrance hall in a saturated blue color sets the tone for the entire interior. Dark colors symbolize night, and retro lights on the wall remind of stars. Travertine on the load-bearing beam adds texture and makes this small corner unique.

Why it's worth replicating: if you're not afraid to experiment, dark colors in the entrance hall create a dramatic and stylish effect, immediately setting the tone for the rest of the interior. This approach also helps make the entrance to the apartment more cozy and atmospheric.
