A dose of inspiration and beautiful design solutions

This cozy kitchen in a Moscow 70 sq. m. two-room apartment was designed by designer Victoria Vishnevskaya. She created a minimalist, functional and practical interior without any unnecessary elements. The focus was placed on light tones and a mix of different textures, which makes the kitchen not look boring.

Before the transformation, the kitchen looked quite acceptable, but the interior was outdated and nobody liked it. It was necessary to plan a modern layout and organize a stylish and comfortable space for living and cooking.

The new interior turned out to be bright, light and very cozy. The kitchen doorway was widened to let more light and air into the hallway. Engineered wood flooring with a warm wood texture was installed, and the walls were painted with light washable paint.

The kitchen cabinet was custom-made: doors in enamel and wood veneer, artificial stone on the front panel and countertop. The combination of light gray and wood gives the interior a stylish and modern look, creating a feeling of comfort and warmth.

A display cabinet was placed on the wall adjacent to the cabinet in a matching tone. It serves as additional storage space — you can arrange beautiful dishes and decor on the shelves.

Full kitchen appliances were provided: built-in refrigerator, microwave oven and oven, two-burner cooktop, range hood. There is plenty of hidden storage space behind the cabinet doors.

Wood was used in many elements of the interior: engineered oak flooring, cabinets in wood veneer finish, dining table set made from solid wood, and even wooden lighting fixtures. A beautiful accent was the dining area with chairs and a table in trendy white bouclé fabric.
