We've collected truly amazing buildings that deserve your attention.

Maralah, Canada

A minimalist cliffside house — a creation by Larteris-Antonios Ando Vasiliu. The architect designed the building for an exclusive Infiniti Motors Limited project in collaboration with ADD Architects. 'Maralah' translates from the native Canadian language as 'one born during an earthquake'.

An isolated cottage perfectly suited for a retreat away from the noisy city life — a tribute to famous American architects Frank Lloyd Wright and John Lotner. Partially overhanging the cliff's edge and partially built into the rock, the house features a bedroom and bathroom with panoramic windows offering a luxurious view of the river.

Suspended House, USA

The Iranian architect Milad Eshtiyagi's project is still in development, but it could become a key to future architecture that not only respects the environment but also occupies minimal land. The 'Suspended House' is held in place by two sets of cables: one supports the structure's weight, and the other handles wind gusts. It creates an impression that the building is literally floating in mid-air.

Speaking about the project, Eshtiyagi noted he wanted the house to allow residents to 'experience different sensations', including 'feelings of fear and excitement' when looking out the windows, and a sense of 'calm and comfort' during rest inside.

The impressive facade is made of local black stone embedded into concrete walls. The design is truly bold: the back of the house remains completely open with a view over a steep cliff below. The impressive height is also visible from the enclosed inner courtyard located right in the middle of mountain peaks.

Extreme Mountain Home, Australia

To invest in such real estate requires great courage but it is undoubtedly unique. This is still just a concept. A five-story cliffside house by Modscape studio — an impressive modular structure designed to cling to the mountain slope.

According to the creators, the design is inspired by nature — specifically how shells cling to a ship's hull. Unfortunately, we don't know what the incredible house will cost, but we're sure it won't be a budget project.

The Pumpkin House, USA

The 'Pumpkin House', located high above the Hudson River in New York, is another celebrity among cliffside homes. Built in the 1920s, it received its original name due to its distinctive window shapes resembling glowing pumpkins when the sun sets.

Mountain House, Canada

A house designed by Iranian architect Milad Eshtiyagi still in the conceptual stage, built around four trees already growing on a vertical cliff chosen as the construction site. The client was a family who wanted their own nest on Quadra Island, a scenic landmass off Vancouver's east coast.

Inside the house is divided into three levels: one for the client and his wife, another for their son, and the third floor will feature relaxation and sports areas.
