Small two-room apartment resembling a hotel you'd want to live in
Oльга Raiskaya created a bright and cozy interior
Designer Oльга Raiskaya designed a neutral interior for a two-room apartment that does not look boring. Natural materials, original textures and design solutions were used.
The apartment was decorated for rental. The client asked to make the interior bright, cozy, fairly practical and vandal-resistant, but with its own unique touch. Therefore, they decided to use the style of a traditional Japanese house.

Technical details of the apartment:
- total area — 46 sq. m.
- rooms — 2
- bathroom — 1
- ceiling height — 3.1 m
The layout was slightly modified. The entrance to the room from the corridor into the living room was moved. This allowed placing a more spacious wardrobe in the room. By shifting some walls toward the bathroom, a niche for a coat rack was created in the hallway.
Hallway
In addition to open shelves and hooks, a built-in closed wardrobe was installed for storing clothes and a small niche for household items. All elements were custom-made. The floor covering was made of ceramic granite.

Kitchen
The space is small but quite spacious. They decided to forgo suspended cabinets, which visually expands the room and makes it feel more open. Shelves for storing food and dishes were installed open.

The countertop, which smoothly transitions into the dining table, was made of artificial stone. A handmade paper lamp was hung above the table.

Bedroom
Since the apartment is for rent, it was not practical to paint the walls in vibrant colors. Therefore, the decision was made to decorate the room in the calmest and brightest tones possible. The bedroom looks like a hotel room — neutral and peaceful. The main accent was made on wallpaper from natural reed. The floor was covered with engineered wood.

Bathroom
The walls were decorated in light beige tones, paint and tiles with wood patterns. The floor was tiled with large-format ceramic granite in a natural stone look.

All necessary furniture and decor items were purchased at IKEA. The bathroom was removed and a shower tray was installed, the washing machine in a separate niche, and above it a cabinet for cleaning supplies.
