Stunning Swedish Interior Floating in Greenery and Colors
It's impossible not to fall in love with this apartment
This apartment on the outskirts of Stockholm stands out for its small size – only 38 m². But despite being executed in blue-green tones, it's hard to call it dark.

We explore how designers managed to achieve such organic color proportions.
Location
The apartments are located on the first floor. The building itself features mansard roofs, high ceilings, and cozy inner courtyards. One such courtyard leads to panoramic terrace doors in the living room, while the bedroom window opens into the same space and lets in plenty of daylight.

To enhance natural lighting, the ceilings were bordered with a wide white cornice and created high white moldings.

Finishing and Decoration
Rather than heavy textiles at the windows, they installed blinds, and for better light transmission, ceiling and floor lamps with transparent shades were installed.

The living room-kitchen is divided into several zones, so the walls here are covered with neutral gray wallpaper.

The emerald velvet sofa in the center of the room zones the living room and dining area, while the kitchen stands out with white cabinets and a marble-like apron.

The kitchen cabinets extend to the ceiling, forming a spacious storage system.

In the narrow and dark corridor, there is a wardrobe. To slightly expand and lighten the entrance hall, the wardrobe was draped with velvet fabric in the same tone as the sofa.

The alternating dark walls and furniture with white interior items visually makes the space brighter and more dynamic.

The bathroom is characterized by achromaticity, but the blue-green motif appears in the curtains with a plant pattern.

One cannot help but notice the abundance of greenery throughout the apartment. Numerous vases and planters with rather sprawling branches fill all the space organically and bring life to it.
