6 bathrooms that were renovated on a budget but turned out great
Just take a look at how our heroes managed to decorate bathrooms on their own without going bankrupt
It's always interesting to find out how a renovation can look without the help of designers. We've selected six great bathrooms that our heroes decorated on their own and didn't spend large sums on transforming them. Let's take a look!
A small bathroom in white-blue tones
This bathroom was completely done without designers: the owner came up with the design and bought materials, while the husband brought the ideas to life. They started by combining the bathroom, resulting in a total area of 3.8 m².
As with the entire apartment, the bathroom was decorated in a Scandinavian style. They chose white and blue tones, and added warmth with wooden elements and decor. For wall finishing, they used paint and classic "pig" tiles, while the floor was covered with patterned ceramic granite.

A stylish bathroom for full relaxation
This bathroom in the apartment is small—only five square meters. The walls are decorated with gray tiles that look like concrete—they perfectly complement the door's color tone, and the floor is covered with square tiles with an ornament. To soften the cold tones, they added cozy elements: wicker baskets and planters, a textile rug, and a wooden screen for the bathtub made from ready panels.

Incredibly cozy Scandinavian bathroom
This bathroom room has many great features: a bathtub by the window, a wall made of glass blocks, an incredibly beautiful floor mirror, and an unusual vanity unit. By the way, it was made from the base of a sewing machine and the countertop.
Several shelves were hung near the sink—made from the same furniture board as the countertop. A small table was found on "Avito," and the crystal chandelier was a gift from the owner's grandmother and grandfather.

IMPORTANT! You don't have to put off the renovation for a long time—transform your bathroom right now. With the "Halva" installment plan, you can buy everything you need in partner stores. A small bathroom done by hand
The area of a combined bathroom is 3 m². In the "wet" zone, tiles are used on the walls, while in the "dry" zone, the walls are painted with moisture-resistant paint. The owners deliberately opted out of a sink in favor of a washing machine—this doesn't cause any discomfort.
The screen under the bathtub was made from roller shutter doors. The doors themselves are attached with magnets, so there's space under the bathtub for storing household products. As a result of the reconfiguration, a niche appeared in front of the bathroom entrance—this was used as a utility cabinet.

Bathroom with a mirror panel
The bathroom is the owner's favorite room. The walls are decorated with a combination of tiles and moisture-resistant paint, while the mirror panel is made from IKEA 30×30 cm tiles—this trick visually expands the bathroom space. The countertop under the sink was made by Anna herself, and the mixer was bought on AliExpress for a small amount.

A micro-bathroom in a Khrushchyovka
Owners spent around 85,000 rubles on bathroom renovation in this Khrushchyovka. For finishing, they chose white tiles and wood-look ceramic granite. The screen under the bathtub was sewn and covered with the same tiles as on one of the walls. The meter was hidden behind tiles secured with magnets—this looks much more aesthetically pleasing than a regular plastic cover.
Storage was provided with a suspended cabinet with sliding drawers and a narrow shelf where household items can be stored conveniently. A round IKEA mirror was hung over the sink, and the interior was completed with woven decor.
