What Does the Perfect Apartment for a Large Family Look Like?
We've curated a selection of interesting projects where functionality and technology are prioritized. To ensure comfort for families with young children, designers focused on convenient layouts, plenty of storage systems, and, of course, ergonomic kitchens.
Vibrant Apartment for a Family with Two Children
Designer Alexandra Sviridova created a practical layout featuring shared and private zones. The emphasis was placed on ergonomics, with a dedicated kitchen zone and sliding doors that can be fully opened to visually connect the living room and dining area.

Design: Aiya Design
The kitchen was equipped with Miele appliances: an induction cooktop with touch control, coffee machine, combi steamer, and vacuum sealer, as freshness and food quality are vital in a family with small children.

Two-Story Apartment for a Family Expecting a New Member
In this project, designers connected two separate apartments located one above the other into a single, two-story unit. Natural materials were chosen for finishing and the apartment was decorated in earth tones. Designers focused on maximum comfort: the first floor includes the living room-dining room-kitchen, bathroom, and office, while the second floor features private spaces.

Design: Ab-Architects
The kitchen was separated from the living room using an island. Requirements for integrated appliances were strict: they had to blend with natural textures, be multi-functional, and ensure no unwanted odors or loud sounds.

Family Nest in St. Petersburg
Designers emphasized a comfortable layout, combining the TV area, dining room, and kitchen in one space, fully equipped with the latest technology. Each family member has their own room, and the shared kitchen-living room area serves as a common space for gatherings.

Design: Fisheye Architecture & Design
It was important for the housekeeper to have a modern and functional workspace, so an Miele range of cooktops with built-in extraction was installed to remove cooking vapors directly at the source. Household appliances were placed in built-in units, including a grain coffee machine.

Apartment with Private Space
For the young family with a little daughter, it was important to have a shared guest area and a space that cannot be accessed by outsiders. Designers joined the living room with the kitchen-dining room and equipped it with smart household appliances.

Design: Quadro Room Room
The private area was separated from the public one using glass partitions. Since the client loves cooking, an ergonomic kitchen island was designed for her, integrating Miele cooktops with built-in extraction. A multi-functional oven, coffee machine, and wine cooler were installed in the cabinet.
