This house was previously a warehouse, and its inhabitants were grain combines. Take a look at how the homeowners renovated the warehouse, preserving the stone walls, wooden finishings, and even some furniture

Two sisters decided to turn the old warehouse, which nobody used anymore, into a fully functional countryside retreat. The project turned out to be within their capabilities: one of the girls, Natalia, is a professional designer. Dolores is the inspiration and support group in one.

The sisters completely renovated the interior and exterior of the warehouse. They added a balcony and veranda, installed a staircase, and secured floor slabs for the second floor. They chose to preserve the exposed stone walls and wooden ceiling beams — they became key elements in the home's interior design.

The house interior can be described as rustic style: lots of wood, stone, woven furniture, and natural finishes. Wooden beams, stone walls, tree stumps used as chairs, and rough-cut planks for tables and benches blend beautifully within the warehouse space.

Almost all furniture in the house, especially tables, chairs, and kitchen cabinets, is made from pine. To protect wooden surfaces from moisture, they were coated with an invisible micro-cement solution. This coating preserves the wood texture while making it wear-resistant.

Interior items were handmade by Dolores and Natalia. For example, there is a mirror in the bedroom with an old window serving as its frame. The coat rack is a restored staircase that was originally part of the warehouse. The wooden beams form the frame of the children's bunk bed.

What is interesting is that the bedroom and bathroom are one space, separated only by a cabinet. The sisters used the area of a room with an irregular shape — too long and narrow.

The highlight of the house is its open veranda. It’s a real forest fairy tale: a wooden table, a bench with oak tree stumps as supports, and even flower pots!
