In a standard one-room apartment, it's hard to come up with an unconventional way to arrange a sofa, wardrobe, and TV unit. However, our designer managed to do it. What do you think?
Together with MTK "Grand", we asked Maria Lazzich to develop three options for furnishing the living room in a panel studio for a family couple — so that there's comfort for resting in front of the TV, hosting guests, and sleeping. Which option do you like more?

Option 1

For this option, I divided the room into two functional zones: relaxation and TV viewing. The boundary here is a continuous bookshelf. This arrangement suits those who believe that sleeping should only be done on a proper bed and a good mattress.

Opposite the TV is a small sofa — behind it, you can have coffee and relax comfortably. The workspace with a small table is placed on the insulated balcony.

Option 2

In this option, the room features a large straight sofa with a convertible mechanism "book". When unfolded, it doesn't take up much space, its dimensions are 200×160 cm. A soft footstool and armchair serve as additional seating.

The room's design is in classical style, so a decorative fireplace with a TV is placed in the center of the bookshelves. Along the wall, there's a built-in wardrobe with a mirror and a chest of drawers for clothes.

On the balcony, there is a reading zone under warm lighting from a wall sconce.

Option 3

In this option, I placed a spacious corner sofa with an ottoman for resting and watching TV in a semi-reclining position. Such a form of soft furniture is very popular in Russia and often bought for living rooms. It can accommodate all guests when needed.

Opposite the sofa is a chest of drawers for clothes with a TV. Next to it — a built-in wardrobe for clothes and a spacious workspace. On the balcony, fully across its width, there is a lounge platform for relaxation.
