For elementary school students, it's most important to choose the right workspace and bed. Kids spend a lot of time at lessons, so it's essential that they get quality rest and sleep at night.

Workspace Table

There are many different options for children's work tables. The tabletops can be adjusted to various angles relative to the seated child, and the height of such a table grows with the child: its supports can be raised or lowered depending on the child's height.

This option is both economical and suitable for use by multiple children at once. For example, if there are two children of different ages in the family, it's easy to adjust the table for each one.

Additional shelves and drawers can be added to the writing desk. Don't forget to buy a hook for a backpack on the side panel of the table and a footrest.

It's important to choose the right place for the workspace table in the room. Daylight from the window should fall on the tabletop from the left if the child is right-handed, and vice versa — from the right if the child is left-handed.

A desk located by the window is an excellent solution for doing homework. Add a pair of adjustable lamps to create comfortable conditions in the evening.

Chair

Don't forget to choose an adjustable chair with an anatomical backrest that supports the natural curve of the spine. Avoid models with armrests — they may harm the child's posture.

Choose a safe material for the bed frame — wood, MDF, veneer, metal. But most importantly, select an individual mattress for each child. It, like an orthopedic pillow, is the key to good sleep.

Also, for comfortable falling asleep and waking up, you can hang dense textile with a blackout effect on the windows. Smart alarms that simulate sunrise warm light in the morning can help children easily transition from vacation to school mode.

Closet

When a child goes to school, their wardrobe significantly increases. Sports equipment, school uniform and sports clothes, several pairs of shoes are added. Therefore, a spacious and convenient closet is a necessary item in the child's room. Add side shelves for books, collections, and other small items.

Notice Board

If space allows, hang a working board next to the table. It can be cork, magnetic, or painted with chalkboard paint. It's convenient to fix important dates, hang notes or tasks that need to be completed by the next school day.
