Cozy Scandinavian apartment with thoughtful storage
Convenient kitchen, walk-in closet in the bedroom, and many cabinets and shelves — this apartment offers comfort for all residents
The apartment is located in Västberga, a suburb of Stockholm, in a small brick house built in 1945. Over the past two years, the apartment has been fully renovated and sold to new owners.
This cozy and bright flat features a spacious kitchen-living room that opens to an open balcony with a convenient breakfast table. There is also an isolated bedroom and a children's room. It's the perfect place for a large family.

The walls of the apartment are painted in light and calm tones: beige in the kitchen-living room, gray in the bedroom, and pink in the children's room. This is an excellent neutral base for colorful accents. For example, a red shelf and a vibrant poster complement the living room setup.
Parquet flooring in a warm tone was laid on the floor — it blends well with the walls and will last for many years. Moreover, if children come to live in the house, they can play on the floor and walk barefoot.

The kitchen was decorated in a simple and practical way — it allows preparing any dish without worrying about staining surfaces. For countertops, a durable and attractive material was chosen — limestone. The same material was slightly raised on the wall to protect the painted surface from splashes.
There is also all necessary equipment: oven and induction cooktop, refrigerator and dishwasher, as well as a powerful extractor fan. New owners can add decorative elements if needed.

The living spaces are cozy and functional — each room has sleeping and working areas. Storage systems were also not forgotten: a spacious wardrobe was installed in the children's room, and an open closet system was set up in the bedroom. It is covered with gray fabric — the same curtains were used to close the windows.

The bathroom was also made bright and tiled with white tiles on the walls and floor. The room even has a window through which natural light enters — this enhances the overall effect. The washing machine and dryer are also located here.
The entrance hall also features a cabinet and an open clothing rack. It's practical — living in such an apartment is comfortable.
