This home proudly holds the «eco» status: everything inside is made of wood, with panoramic windows throughout, and even the building's geometry was thoughtfully planned according to the compass directions. We tell how designers managed to bring their vision to life

The house project was developed by the Kennedy Nolan team. The designers are known for building houses with unusual geometric forms, yet practical for living. This one is no exception. First, the house sits on a steep slope, which already influences its shape, and second, the designers chose to emphasize curves by incorporating curved wooden ceilings.

The house features several rooms connected by the kitchen and living room, a study and many relaxation zones (by the fireplace, at the windows, etc.). The house is also notable for its internal courtyard designed within the building, accessible from every room. A cozy and hidden retreat for those who are not outsiders.

Interior and exterior finishes are wooden, with a unified color palette. This muted tone does not distract from the surrounding landscape and even enhances the beauty of local vegetation.

The kitchen (as all rooms) is clad in wooden panels painted in a sea-green shade. This color was chosen not by chance, as it pairs beautifully with the landscapes visible through the panoramic windows. The kitchen features curved ceilings with horizontal beams, creating a dynamic pattern against vertical wall cladding. This combination makes the space feel even more spacious and airy.

The living room features a real log stove, with a wood basket conveniently placed nearby. The sofa is positioned opposite the panoramic window—a wonderful alternative to a typical TV.

The bedroom continues the house’s overall color palette. The room has minimal decor and furniture, yet maximizes light and air.

The bathroom is the only room in the house where wood is replaced with tiles. Despite the variety of geometric lines, they all coexist harmoniously, forming a balanced and cohesive space.
