For students in the early grades, it's most important to choose the right workspace and bed. Kids spend a lot of time at lessons, so quality rest and sleep are essential for them.

Workspace Table

There are many different options for children's work tables. The tabletops can be adjusted to various angles relative to the child sitting, and the height of such a desk grows with the child: its supports can be raised or lowered depending on the student's height.

This option is both economical and suitable for multiple children to use simultaneously. For example, if there are two children of different ages in the family, it's easy to adjust the desk for each one.

Additional shelves and drawers can be added to the writing desk. Don't forget to buy a hook for the backpack on the side panel of the desk and a footrest.

It's important to choose the right place for the workspace table in the room. Natural daylight from a window should fall on the tabletop from the left if the child is right-handed, and from the right if they're left-handed.

A desk placed next to a window is an excellent solution for doing homework. Add a pair of adjustable lights to create comfortable conditions in the evening.

Chair

Don't forget to choose a height-adjustable chair with an anatomical backrest that supports the natural curve of the spine. Avoid models with armrests, as they may harm the child's posture.

Choose a safe material for the bed frame – wood, MDF, veneer, or metal. But most importantly, select an individual mattress for each child. Just like an orthopedic pillow, it's the key to good sleep.

For comfortable falling asleep and waking up, you can also hang dense blackout fabric on the windows. Smart alarms that simulate a warm sunrise light in the morning can help children adjust easily from vacation to school mode.

Closet

As the child goes to school, their wardrobe significantly increases. There's more sport equipment, school and sports uniforms, several pairs of shoes. That's why a spacious and convenient closet is a necessary item in the child's room. Add side shelves for books, collections, and other small items.

If space allows, hang a whiteboard next to the desk. It can be cork, magnetic, or coated with chalk paint. It's convenient for fixing important dates, hanging reminders, or tasks that need to be done by the next school day.
