5 simple ways to create a beautiful interior at home
A beautiful and impressive interior does not necessarily require an expensive renovation, exclusive furniture or complex layout. A memorable and vibrant detail of your apartment might be an unconventional kitchen apron or an original floor. In this article, we have collected several ideas that are easy to implement without the help of professionals.
Experiment with floor finishes
Laminate, planks, tiles, ceramic granite — these are probably all that comes to mind when choosing floor covering. But the floor itself can become an interesting accent in interior design.
An interesting new alternative is Plasma3D coating — with its help, you can create many effects: from cracked earth to marble imitation. The feature of this coating is that it can be applied to any surface: floors, walls or furniture.

Plan wall decor
The ideal option is to choose neutral finishing for all walls and make one accent wall. Here, only your imagination limits you. For an accent wall, you can choose classical options — paint in a contrasting shade, wallpaper with printed patterns, decorate with brick or stone imitation, as well as more unconventional solutions and materials.
Here are a few ideas for inspiration.
In this project, designers mixed matte paint, textured wallpapers and moldings. In this design, parquet was installed on the wall. Deep, saturated tone + lots of vibrant art. Spacious rooms with wooden strips extending to the ceiling add warmth. Another trendy solution is a plant wall and mirrors. Gradient and trendy shade — a reference to Memphis style, which is once again at the peak of popularity.
Create an original kitchen apron
The easiest way to refresh the kitchen interior and make it visually more luxurious is a costly apron made of natural stone or marble. However, the price of such slabs is usually not budget-friendly. Another drawback — a standard apron that is two or three meters wide usually does not fit in the elevator, and it has to be carried manually. It is also installed after the kitchen is mounted, and any inaccuracy — for example, incorrectly cut hole for a socket — leads to rework.

It allows you to save not only on the material itself, but also on its delivery, lifting and installation. It is also free of drawbacks of natural materials: it is easy to apply and can be replaced if necessary. Moreover, it is impact and grease resistant since a special lacquer is applied on top.
This apron can be in classic natural color or a non-standard bright shade.

Decorate a modern shower
Besides traditional tiles, there are many interesting options for bathroom and shower room finishing. What about decorative art concrete stucco? It can be used both in combination with tiles and independently.
This type of finishing fits perfectly into a modern minimalist interior with a barrier-free shower. Despite its matte, slightly rough texture, this material is moisture-resistant and very easy to maintain.

Don’t be afraid of complex art
Despite the widespread stereotype, large and vibrant art objects are suitable for any room: large spaces they gather into a unified whole and add the desired accent, while small ones visually expand.
Art objects are not necessarily paintings. It can be an unusual shelf or a massive mirror — anything you like. You can easily make one yourself.
