In celebration of the most romantic holiday of the year, we have curated a selection of cozy interiors for two. Which idea do you like most?

How easily can the interests of both be taken into account and an interior designed where both feel comfortable? We found a couple of great ideas in projects.

Cozy Apartment in Beige Tones

Designers of Bon Home Design studio decorated a warm and cozy interior in calm tones. They used inexpensive but natural materials: parquet flooring was laid, and walls were painted in beige shades with lemon accents.

A spacious kitchen-living room area with a bar was set aside for family gatherings, and a full wardrobe was provided next to the bedroom.

Vibrant Studio with Gold Accents

This apartment was decorated in gray tones with muted blue and burgundy accents by the Lines design bureau. To vary the cold tones, they used gold accents: copper moldings on walls, furniture, and light fixtures.

A living room-dining area was set aside for shared time, and a separate office is available if someone needs to switch to work mode.

Loft with Blue Bedroom

A young couple asked designer Irina Bolshakova to design a non-standard yet cozy loft-style space for rest, work, and gatherings with friends. The kitchen-living room wall was built with brick cladding, and the bedroom walls were painted in blue — bright but not overwhelming. The main feature of the interior, open communication pipes on the kitchen, was accentuated with metal mosaic.

By the way, the living room is not only a place for friends and relaxation but also has two working spaces.

Classic Interior in Pastel Tones

To visually expand the space of a small apartment for a young couple, the walls were painted in soft pastel shades: the bedroom was pink, and the living room was blue. Light parquet flooring was laid in a herringbone pattern, and the ceilings were raised using high cornices.

Most importantly, when designing the apartment, designer Nailya Zотова planned for the possibility of transforming the interior in case of a family addition. For example, the guest room can easily be turned into a child's room in the future.

Modern Apartment with a Lounge Zone

A small studio for a young and sociable couple was decorated by Prosvirin Design Studio in neutral tones. The highlight of the interior is a combination of marble texture and wood in all rooms' finishes. Thanks to many multi-level lighting fixtures, the space is always bright and cozy.

Since the apartment owners often invite guests over, designers created not only a living room-dining area but also a small lounge zone with soft poufs on the balcony.
