Interior Ideas for Nadia and Zhenya's Apartments: 6 Concepts + Voting
Designer Olga Kashpuranova rewatched the beloved film and created five collages in different styles — this is what Nadia's living room could look like today. Architect Ilya Nasonov and designer Maria Nasedkina proposed a Moscow apartment concept for modern Zhenya. What do you think, which interior would suit our heroes best? Recall all the options and vote with us at the end of this post!
Scandinavian Style
Of course, Nadia's living room doesn't have a chandelier — as is known, the priority in Scandinavian style is combined lighting. A floor lamp next to the armchair, a table lamp in the working area, and spotlights on the ceiling — these are the key to a comfortable and functional interior.

Solid wooden furniture, expensive porcelain, and a Persian rug that never loses its relevance. It's hard to imagine a doctor working in a city clinic in such a home environment. A school teacher like Nadia — also difficult — but this is only fantasy.

The entire living room of Nadia is elegance in simplicity. Details are especially important here: unprocessed wood, un-painted metal, linen tapestry, and only one frame on the shelf — the one that is especially precious and loved.
Design: Olga KashpuranovaLoft
Open-plan design without walls and partitions is the main rule of a loft-style interior. Also, exposed wiring, no finishing, and no curtains on the windows. Nadia's small apartment would look like a gloomy welding shop if not for enough bare bulbs hanging from the ceiling on long cords.

This style brings a feeling of freedom and carefreeness, and modern pieces blend beautifully with handmade items: an IKEA dresser and handmade macramé, a cozy soft sofa, and a hi-tech lamp with a metal base. Plastic is absolutely unacceptable.

What if the script had unfolded differently, and Nadia stayed living in Zhenya's Moscow apartment? Probably, their home would look like this: dark walls, a comfortable sofa for watching series, and minimal decor — after all, this is a masculine interior.
