7 IKEA Items from Designers' Projects
We always go to IKEA when we want to decorate a cheap yet stylish and cozy interior. Designers are no exception — in many of their projects, they use familiar IKEA items.
HEMNES Sofa
Designers from TaupeHome didn't hesitate to combine items from expensive European brands with IKEA products in one project. For example, a light bedroom was perfectly suited with the HEMNES bed with storage drawers.

In Irina Lavrentieva's office, the designer placed such a sofa, first painting it bright blue to match the Gzhel style. She added decorative cushions — and thus created a comfortable sofa.

Designers from Geometrium successfully integrated two wardrobes into a child's room. First, the wardrobes nearly blended in with the walls by color. Second, it created a spatial division between the sleeping and play zones.
Design: GeometriumIn another project, they approached the task differently: they bought the wardrobe from IKEA but had the doors custom-made in blue to match the kitchen cabinetry and hallway.

Designer Anna Sukhaya selected furniture for her apartment according to the principle of 'price-quality'. The gray matte fronts from IKEA were just right for the kitchen — they are moisture-resistant and easy to maintain.

The owner of this apartment didn't want to clutter the hallway with wardrobes, and the budget was limited. Therefore, designers Irina Petrova and Olga Vasileva chose a minimalist white sideboard — it fit perfectly.

People love IKEA items for their simplicity and minimalism. Designer Anna Clark didn't overdo the minimalist hallway and decorated it with just one wooden-frame mirror.
