IKEA-2019: 10 New Products from the Russian Catalog

This year IKEA is celebrating a milestone — the company is 75 years old. While the brand prepares gifts and special offers, we take a look at what interesting items can be found in the jubilee IKEA catalog, which launched in America a month earlier and is now also available in Russia.

Bookcase BILLY

Adjustable shelves and good depth (will fit both large books and favorite magazines) — that's the formula for the perfect bookcase.

Since 1979, the look of the BILLY bookcase has remained almost unchanged, but this year IKEA designers decided to expand the range with a model in dark red.

The new IKEA catalog focuses on color and offers a truly wide selection of shades, from bright and eye-catching to basic tones like this one with a small print. The new item also has a two-sided design (the other side is a solid blue cover).

The sturdy basket made of rattan can be used to store beautiful and cozy throws and blankets that are a pity to hide in a wardrobe. By the way, this new item can also be used in a bathroom or balcony: the material is designed for use in humid areas.

Cotton, viscose, and polyester in the fabric blend, soft pink with white color, abstract pattern — a throw like this is essential in autumn when it’s no longer hot but not yet cold.

The modular storage system can be extended to any height, and it works well under staircases or in attics. Another feature of the new item is its minimalist design and affordable price.

This series of storage boxes is now available in a soft Tiffany blue tone. Round models look particularly elegant. Bright boxes can be complemented with a serving table GLADOM in a similar shade.

Minimalist, white table with a shelf for convenient storage — the Swedish brand continues to stick to neutral solutions. The new item comes in two size ranges: this table is 90 cm long, but there’s also a smaller model for compact spaces.

In the new catalog, ethnic motifs and eastern themes clearly stand out among the patterns for bed linens — that’s how IKEA interprets neutral, unobtrusive classic style. This set is available in two size ranges in blue, pink, and gray colors.

The neutral gray color of this new item suits every interior, and the wide range of sizes makes it easy to find a blind for any window. The blind blocks out light well, so it protects from bright rays and helps you catch a quick nap during the day.
