Small cottage in the village of Puchkovo

Area: 88 sq. m

A summer house near Troitsk was bought by Irina Lavrentyeva with her husband, falling in love with the surrounding apple orchard, and immediately started a renovation. The siding, which was used to clad the log, was replaced with wood, a veranda was added with the possibility of exiting from the kitchen, new electrical wiring was installed, and floors were re-laid. Two-story log cabin in the city of Maloyaroslavets

Area: 110 sq. m

The owners of this cabin immediately indicated to the designers that there was no need for a reconfiguration: the living room, bedroom, and other rooms were to remain in their original places. Wood was used for finishing, which allowed Dina Kostochka and Nina Birkadze to reduce the project budget.

Expressive furniture and décor items were custom-made, while small details were purchased at mass-market retailers such as Zara Home and Crate & Barrel. The project's highlight was a real functional Russian stove.

As a result, in some rooms, walls and ceilings made of timber were simply toned, while others were covered with dense white paint. Planks were laid on the floor. When selecting furniture and décor, they focused on natural hues: pine, berries, grasses, and earth tones.
