The launch of the collection was timed to coincide with the twentieth anniversary of Salvador Dalí's death in 2009.

Perhaps the most striking items in the collection are a three-legged chair, "shod" in women's shoes, from the painting "Woman with a Head of Roses," and the famous sofa shaped like lips.

The prototypes for the collection were abstract images from paintings and sculptures by Joan Miro.

The dining set clearly reflects the heavy rounded forms characteristic of Miro's works. It also creates a strong impression that the designers canceled the laws of perspective. However, Miro did this much earlier in his work.

Figurines from IKEA 'In the Style of Malevich'What?hinge mannequins GESTALTAIKEAWho?designer Maxim Arbuzov(Russia)When?2016 year

Designer Maxim Arbuzov decided to 'materialize' Kazimir Malevich's painting "The Sportsman," the founder of Suprematism, in a miniature hinge mannequin from IKEA — through his own vision, of course. In this project, the designer explores the idea of uniting mass-market products and eternal values of art.

Lighting Exactly Like in Kandinsky's WorkWhat?lighting "#Kandinsky"Who?designer Maxim Rubtsov(Russia)When?2016 year

The design of the lamp was presented in 2016 for the Interni Design Awards competition. The prototype was based on Wassily Kandinsky's painting "Circles in a Circle"

While examining the multicolored balls connected by steel wires, note that Malevich loved angular and rectangular forms, while Kandinsky preferred circles and smooth curves.

Bedtime Masks with Eyes of Painting CharactersWhat?bedtime masks "Masterpieces never sleep!"Who?designer Leshа Limonov(Belarus)When?2017 year

The idea of masks with eyes that continuously observe museum visitors from the canvases of Dutch artists and "never sleep," according to the author, is that "putting on a mask with eyes of a new character, one can be sure they will see real masterpieces in their dreams!" It's simply amusing to go to sleep with the eyes of Van Gogh, "worn" over one's own eyes.

The design of the masks was presented in 2017 at the international competition "Reykstudio" for a unique work based on museum masterpieces.
