How to Decorate a Large Entrance Hall: 4 Tips from Nadia Zотова

If a small entrance hall has enough space for a 45x60 cm closet where only seasonal clothes are stored, then in a large one — install a spacious built-in or freestanding wardrobe.

With «extra» meters, we can afford to place a console or even a chest of drawers. A console with one or two drawers serves more of a decorative purpose, while a chest can store scarves, documents, umbrellas.

It's more comfortable to put on shoes while sitting, so place a footstool or bench. In a small entrance hall, push the footstool under the console – it's convenient, beautiful, and functional. In larger spaces, you can place both a chest of drawers and a bench.

Don't forget about mirrors and lighting. One mirror – full-length – hang on the wall or hide in a wardrobe door, and the second place it above the console. 

For comfortable lighting, you can use built-in spotlights or ceiling pendants. You'll also need additional lighting near mirrors and inside wardrobes.
