In this apartment with a bedroom and two children's rooms, several proven methods were used to create a successful interior. Take note of what can be applied.

Today, homes and apartments decorated with an abundance of artwork on the walls no longer surprise anyone, but this interior in Stockholm with a vibrant selection of graphics and paintings mixed with family photos is hard to ignore. Most of them are concentrated in the common area. The common area consists of a living room and dining room, and in this four-room apartment with a total area of 92 square meters, it was decorated most elegantly and impressively.

Incidentally, artistic works can include not only paintings but also some furniture and lighting: for the common area, the apartment owners selected soft furniture, chairs, and lighting fixtures from iconic Scandinavian designers. For example, a pair of already classic Pendant lamps by Arvo Aalto and several Wishbone chairs designed by Hans Wegner make a good combination in the dining room, while a "continental sofa" and a tripod lamp by Santa & Cole added some industrial flair to the living room, breathing life into it. The finishing touch – a vibrant carpet on the floor.

However, besides the use of paintings and items with a history, the interior features many other interesting decorative solutions that help create a stylish living space. These include oak parquet laid in a herringbone pattern, classic wall panels, and light-colored background walls that give the apartment a refined, intimate appearance. All of this blends beautifully not only with art but also with the look of the house built in 1898.

Also noteworthy is the design of the green-toned bathroom and kitchen. There are no upper cabinets in the kitchen (instead, two small niches near the work zone), but storage space for kitchenware is maximized with an island.

Storage in other rooms and spaces is less efficient: there is only a large closet in the bedroom, and small built-in storage areas in the children's rooms. However, this is easily resolved: it's enough to shift a couple of paintings in the living room-dining room and replace them with an additional cabinet or console, and practical space with a good design will be ready.
