1. Main Focus – Tactile Comfort

When choosing finishing materials, rely on tactile comfort. Carpet, bedside table, upholstery, and textiles – everything should bring pleasure. These emotions at a subconscious level create a sense of harmony.

2. Thoughtful Lighting

A single chandelier in the center of the room is not always the right solution, so use wall sconces and table lamps. Also install passage switches so you can control the lighting without getting out of bed. Don’t forget to provide outlets for charging gadgets next to your bed!

3. Built-in Music

If ceiling configuration allows, I love installing built-in speakers. What could be more pleasant than falling asleep to the sounds of nature or waking up to invigorating music?

4. Decorate and Save Money

Based on my experience, I can say: it’s not necessary to wallpaper the entire bedroom. It's better to decorate an accent wall behind the headboard – it’s beautiful and budget-friendly. By the way, don’t be afraid to use plaster for this purpose.

5. Choose Only What You Need

Do you really need this side table with a million drawers? If you almost never use it, I suggest replacing it with a light table. It will save your budget, and its surface will easily hold your phone and a book.

6. More Storage Space

If you don’t have a wardrobe, I recommend maximizing additional storage solutions – a bed with a storage box, a pouf with a drawer near the vanity table, a chest or suitcase.

7. Cozy Textiles

Don’t skimp on textiles: they always create a cozy atmosphere. A duvet, 4–5 pillows, and beautiful curtains – your textile must-have. You can also use blackout curtains to hide from daylight on weekends and sleep better.

8. Smart Accessory Storage

Make a frame for storing jewelry and hang it on the wall as decoration. Additionally, you can use mannequins or camera organizers.

9. More Colors!

Don’t be afraid of color – it’s the best antidepressant, especially for our climate. If you're a fan of neutral interiors, color the details, but never doom yourself to gray days.

10. Original Decor

A small hint: use unusual items for decorating your bedroom. For example, Ju-Ju Cameroonian hats have long been used to create vibrant interiors. They evoke the feeling of a cozy nest, which is perfect for a bedroom.
