Budget Interior You Will Love: Studio Apartment in Poland
The area of this studio apartment in Gdansk (Poland) is 41 square meters. The owners had only $10,000 for its decoration, but the Raca Architekci specialists were not intimidated by such a limited budget: on the contrary, designers managed to find many inexpensive and stylish solutions. The interior turned out to be harmonious, functional, with a clearly expressed individuality and eye-catching details.

The layout of the apartment is quite simple: a small hallway, a small bedroom, a kitchen-living room and a combined bathroom. In the bedroom, designers used a minimal set of furniture to avoid cluttering the already limited space.
Here is a bed assembled from pallets, a stool instead of a nightstand and a chair that serves as a relaxation and reading zone (note how books are placed on the windowsill nearby). There is also an open storage system that can be made closed by draping the curtains if desired.

The kitchen-living room was also decorated with minimal furniture: a sofa, a coffee table, a TV unit, an dining table and a kitchen cabinet. However, they decided to do without wall-mounted cabinets, limiting themselves to just a couple of open shelves. This helped reduce the cost of kitchen furniture even further and made the space less cluttered.

The connecting element in the interior is a black graphite wall: it unifies the hallway, the living room area and the kitchen area into one whole. Another unifying motif in the decor is the mandala. This image is placed on the wall in the kitchen-living room; it can be seen on the pillows, above the bed and on the wall in the bedroom; on posters in the hallway, bathroom and TV unit.

Other notable budget-friendly finds include a tile carpet in the hallway, ceiling wires that were deliberately left exposed instead of hidden, and a handmade wooden footstool in the bathroom. Additionally, many items in the decor were purchased by the project authors at IKEA. Agree, the result turned out to be more than satisfactory, especially considering the cost involved.
