"Keep your back straight and walk directly to your goal!" What do you need for that? First of all, a good bed. Even in the smallest apartment, you can organize a proper sleeping area. Look, choose

Don't give up a proper sleeping area, even if you have to sacrifice something else. Doctors say that it's important to keep your spine in a healthy condition. If you live in a studio, you'll have to decide what you're willing to sacrifice for the sake of your spine.

Standard Concepts of a Bedroom

The architects of Ruetemple studio made the sleeping area part of a wooden structure that serves multiple functions: it's not only a bedroom but also a library, wardrobe, and TV viewing area.

To be honest, there's nothing to sacrifice in this case: since the sleeping area niche is right in front of a window, it gets plenty of light, and you can enjoy the morning sky without getting out of bed.

Ability to Put Your Feet Down from the Bed

An orthopedic mattress on a wooden platform — what else could it be? Daylight enters the bedroom through a latticed partition. Ksenia Drapey's mini-bedroom design has only one flaw: you can approach the bed from just one side.

Sunlight in the Bedroom

In the bedroom designed by Spfce for Life architects, you won't see the sky anymore — it's too far from the window. However, in the mornings the sun won't shine directly into your face. Note the projector screen: when it's lowered, neither the mirror door of the wardrobe nor the sleeping area seems to exist.

Ceiling Height

In a bedroom on the mezzanine, you won't be able to stand straight up, but in some cases it's the only option to sleep in a bed rather than on a pull-out sofa. If you have such a reserve as a ceiling height over 3.8 meters, there's a reason to follow Tatiana Shishkina's designer approach — setting up the bedroom on the second floor.

Feeling of Spaciousness

In such a bedroom, you won't be able to toss and turn with pillows, but what else can you do: for a 28 square meter apartment, it's hard to come up with a better sleeping arrangement than the one designed by Ksenia Drapey.

Chance to Close the Door to Your Bedroom

When there's no space for a separate bedroom, you can do what Oksana Tsymbalova suggested: make the bedroom part of the living room. The bed is half-hidden behind a carved screen that lets daylight into the living room.
