Smart Storage Solutions for Clothing by Place
When decorating an apartment, one of the most important and challenging tasks is fitting everything you need into a limited space. A large wardrobe or spacious dressing room can be an excellent helper in this matter, as they help to save as much free space as possible and provide convenient access to the necessary items. With our tips, create your own storage system that will meet all your needs.
1. Two Is Better Than One
If you store clothes on hangers, there is no need for a large number of shelves. One of the ways to add more storage space is to make two bars for short items instead of one.

2. By New Purpose
A regular bookcase or shelf with adjustable shelves is perfect for storing a large amount of footwear and bags. The most frequently used items should be placed at eye level, while those worn less often should be stored at the bottom.

3. Extend Forward
Many wardrobes and dressing room systems can be improved with sliding drawers or shelves, which are convenient for storing undergarments and other small clothing items. Shoes will not be lost in the back rows and will always be visible. In this way, capacity increases almost twofold.

4. Do Away with Doors
In a small apartment, you can increase space by doing away with swinging doors. Replace them with something softer and taking up less space, such as heavy curtains. Install a ceiling rail around the wardrobe and hang floor-length curtains.

5. Reach Upward
Use all available space in the wardrobe: often, the space above the ceiling remains unused, although another shelf can be placed there. Use it to store seasonal or rarely used items in wicker baskets or boxes.

6. Hooks – Help
Hooks and hangers will help you use all the walls of the wardrobe to their fullest. They can be attached to any surface using special double-sided adhesive tape. Attach hooks on the inside of the wardrobe doors and hang scarves, handkerchiefs, and small bags.

7. Divide and Conquer
Use dividers for sliding drawers: they help keep things organized in their designated places. Convenient sections with small compartments about 15x15 cm can store undergarments, jewelry, watches, belts, ties, and other small items.

8. Everything Has Its Name
Baskets and boxes are perfect for storing rarely used or seasonal clothing. To prevent searching for the right item from becoming a nerve-wracking experience, affix labels with content names on them. You can also buy boxes with transparent walls through which you can see where things are stored.

9. Everything in Sight
To use all room space rationally, consider the option of an open wardrobe. It's easy to make – attach several rails and shelves to the wall or ceiling, or use a ready-made mobile clothing stand. Clothes for the upcoming week will always be within reach, and beautifully selected outfits will become a real room decoration.

10. Never Again
Do not forget to make use of even the smallest and seemingly inconvenient space. Shelves can be arranged in any narrow opening – they won't take up much space but will give you additional storage area.
