Fantasy Flight Eco Theme: All Sides of Wood in One Interior
A wonderful view of the water surface, traditional American interior style, and time-tested construction technologies of this house warm the soul and bring peace.
Claire Hannafin simply loves her Orleans (Massachusetts) home, her native town with its unique rural location near a large lake.

Such a location and natural beauty around it inspired Claire together with her spouse to build a house primarily from wood, stone, and other natural materials.

The wooden formwork of the house is left exposed, visually defining the shape and contours of the structure, which is quite rare in modern architecture. This harmoniously complements the green garden surrounding the house.

The open-concept kitchen smoothly opens from the hallway, setting the right tone for all other rooms and emphasizing the overall feeling of freedom and lightness.

Also deserves attention is the completely unique mix of traditional and refined eclectic design. Natural unpainted materials are well complemented by textiles and classical furniture.
