Vision of Calm and Luxury

Located in the tranquil Sammakom Villages in Bangkok, Thailand, Sleepless Residence is a masterpiece of contemporary architecture designed by WARchitect. This stunning 570 sqm home was created to fulfill the owner's dream, Narongwit, founder and director of Sleepless Society & Chandelier Music. The goal was clear: to create a resort-style sanctuary, where nature, architecture and privacy harmoniously blend.

Lake Panoramic Views and Open Spaces

One of the standout features of Sleepless Residence is its breathtaking panoramic lake views. Inspired by a multi-level theatre design, the house was meticulously planned for maximum visibility. The open layout allows continuous views from the bedroom, through the internal courtyard and living room to the water. This thoughtful spatial arrangement enhances the connection between interior and exterior environments while preserving complete privacy.

Harmonious Design Focused on the Courtyard

The heart of the residential home is a luxurious internal courtyard, offering views of nature. This private green space not only promotes tranquility but also serves as a visual barrier from the outside world. Whether composing music alone or entertaining guests, the owner enjoys an environment that perfectly balances relaxation and social interaction.

Unique Approach to Materials and Aesthetics

The design of Sleepless Residence draws inspiration from industrial loft, combined with elegant European vintage elements. The house features custom brickwork, where standard bricks were rotated and laid vertically, creating a unique textured facade. This innovative use of materials underscores the character of the home while maintaining a modern and elegant appearance.

Climate-Adapted Architecture

To combat Bangkok's heat, the bedroom, located by the road, was surrounded by a custom brick facade. Designed with a slanted layout, this element not only enhances ventilation but also protects the interior from excessive sunlight, while maintaining maximum privacy. This architectural feature serves both functional and sculptural purposes, adding character to the home.
