White Bedroom? Let's Consider Other Options
Surrounding colors can stimulate or depress us, excite or soothe. Additionally, the same color affects different people in various ways. Therefore, before deciding on a bedroom design in a specific color palette, it's worth learning more about it, reviewing ready-made interior options using that color, "trying them on" your living space – how it looks, whether it irritates or not, and selecting what harmonizes well with this color.

White Bedroom Interior
White is the color of purity and light. A white bedroom creates an impression of spaciousness, cleanliness, and freshness. White color is suitable in almost any style. With its help, you can create a bedroom in ethnic, modern, or historical style.
However, in pure white, a white bedroom design looks quite harsh and cool, possibly irritating to the eyes. Therefore, you can use various shades of white—for example, a softer milk, pearl, white with a hint of blue or pink, or one close to cream. Additionally, white looks great when combined with many other colors: wooden, chocolate, beige, blue, and others.
Especially favorable is the combination of white and turquoise. You can keep walls and furniture white, while flooring and decor in other colors—the bedroom remains white but becomes more interesting and comfortable. In a bedroom, black is also often combined with white. (Read our recommendations on wallpaper combinations in interiors). A black-and-white bedroom interior is very contrasted, rather cool, and somewhat depressive; in its pure form, it is not recommended for bedrooms.
When choosing such a combination for a bedroom, it should be balanced with softness and richness of other colors.

Lavender Bedroom – Design
Lavender-violet tones positively affect people. These colors soothe and relax, yet at the same time stimulate emotions and imagination.
A dark lavender bedroom or one where everything is violet will be quite gloomy. However, as a main tone, you can choose lilac, lavender, or violet. A bedroom in violet color—a lavender color—combined with cream, milk, or wood tone can be done in an original French rural style. You can also combine various shades of violet, which are numerous.
If a lavender bedroom is chosen, the room design will always contribute to sweet dreams.

Green Bedroom
Green is the color of nature, a cheerful and soothing color. A bedroom in green tones, more than any other, promotes rest and recovery of strength. Green is very versatile—there's a suitable shade for every bedroom. A southern bedroom lacks mint or salad green, while a northern one needs olive or pistachio green. In a green bedroom, orange and natural wood tones work well as decoration.
Wooden or woven furniture and accessories complement the natural wall finish and help you feel even more relaxed and refreshed in a green bedroom.

Black in Bedroom
Used in combinations with white, sand, gold, red, and other colors. Black should not be overused in bedroom finishes; if used, it should be done moderately. In a light beige-sandy room, a glossy black wardrobe would look good.
A black-red bedroom interior is considered especially passionate and suitable for young couples, but such a color combination rarely promotes good rest. A black-red bedroom, or any bedroom with an excess of black color, is a very extreme color choice.
