Scientists have proven that developing a child through drawing, board games, reading children's books and magazines, as well as modeling and making various crafts, should begin after the child takes their first confident steps.

Therefore, if your little one has started measuring square meters of your apartment on their own, it's time to think about more useful ways to spend their time.

Give your child their own comfortable and useful corner

However, to spark a genuine interest in any activity in your child, they need a space where they feel at home. This space should not only be comfortable but also convenient for completing the task set before them. Many of you have probably already understood that this is about a kids' table.

It's no secret that a children's table is a personal space for your little one, where they develop their imagination, learn new knowledge, and overcome the first difficulties related to applying that knowledge in real life.

Usually, such tables are passed down to us from friends or relatives. Therefore, it's best to renovate them to make them more comfortable for the child.

The first idea that comes to mind is creating additional drawers for stationery and other supplies (books, coloring books, threads, pencils, markers, paints), so everything is within reach for your child.

How to Create Additional Drawers?

For this, any wooden board, plywood, or particleboard can be used, from which the kids' drawer set will be made.

One of the best forms is a trapezoid shape. However, you can also give it any geometric shape depending on your imagination (square, rhombus, triangle).

Moreover, to avoid mistakes in the shape of the selected geometric figure, draw a rough sketch of each part on paper and match it with the dimensions of the kids' table. Only then can you start cutting.

It's advisable to paint the wooden parts of the drawer set in a tone matching the color of the kids' table. However, you can also get creative. For example, paint them in any bright color that complements the interior of the room where the kids' table is located. After the parts have dried, securely attach them to the table legs.

As you can see, in just a few hours of work, you've created a creative kids' drawer set where your child can store all their tools.
