Modern ways of decorating interiors allow homeowners to choose what they like.

In this case as well: if you are tired of paper wallpapers, use fabric decor. Indeed, it was the predecessor of modern wallpapers in wealthy homes.

You can achieve coziness, warmth, and certain sound insulation by applying linen or cotton fabric to the walls with a print of your choice.

Or add one element: choose a contrasting fabric color in the form of a collage, draping, or the "quilling" technique on top of wallpapers.

A wall panelled niche creates the impression of a "floating" wall, transparent water ripples, and a favorable accent is made on wooden surfaces.

In a room where walls quickly become wet, tiles are preferred. The combination of several shades of blue in the tiles we have chosen gives the wall a watery gleam, creating an effect of a moist surface shimmering in all shades of blue. An additional decorative element in this interior is an arched opening.

For decorating your kitchen worktop, designers offer decorative stone.

Using any kind of stone (as shown in our illustration – granite) for decoration, you will appreciate the durability of this material and the absence of cleaning issues in the kitchen.

However, stone is not the cheapest material and its installation requires a certain level of skill.

Another bold option for using wall tiles is to cover one entire wall of the room.

A vibrant splash of color in your home can be achieved with exterior facade tiles, if you combine large ceramic tiles in several shades.

A calm neutral bedroom interior can be accentuated with textured square tiles in matching shades arranged in a checkerboard pattern.

Decorating with wood looks very well. For this purpose, wooden surface cladding, wooden panels combined with wallpapers, or staircase steps are used.

Wooden paneling for rooms is making a comeback. They bring warmth and comfort thanks to their texture. This idea works particularly well in a fireplace room or a relaxation area.

Currently, decorating walls and ceilings with film is trendy and in demand. While in the past emphasis was placed on one wall, now it's suggested to cover all walls with film, combining it with gypsum board, wallpapers, or textile elements.

If you want to liven up the interior of a room, consider the "wide stripe technique". The concept is very simple in execution: a single shiny horizontal stripe is applied to a monochrome wall, in the same tone or one shade lighter.

If a wall is not perfectly smooth, this is not a reason to cover it with outdated rugs. Today there are many alternatives, one of which is 3D panels. These are not paper wallpapers that are hard to apply. All you need is the panels and adhesive. They are easy to paint in another color if, for example, you change the curtains in the room.

Wall finishing in a house is interesting! Everything depends on your imagination!
