Handmade Pencil Holder

Equipment:

• plastic bottle;
• knitting thread;

• water-emulsion paint.

First, cut the bottle to the desired height. If the bottle you are using is white or any other color, painting it is not necessary. If you want a colored vase, paint the already cut part of the bottle with water-emulsion paint of the color you choose. Leave the paint for the time specified by the manufacturer on the paint can. After that, use a hole puncher to make the necessary number of holes. Using a thick needle, thread the yarn through the holes as shown in the picture.

Yarn can be chosen in different colors and used to make various patterns. Let your imagination run wild and play with the height of the vase and different weaving of yarns. A low vase can be used for erasers and small details, a tall one - for pencils and pens.

There are many small things in our homes that always get in the way, and when they're needed, they're hard to find. Let's make a small items box from plastic bottles.

You will need:

• two plastic bottles of the same size;
• scissors;
• needle;
• yarn;
• zipper.

Cut off the bottoms of both bottles so that the height of the bottom is about 4-5 centimeters. Using a needle, sew the zipper first to one bottom and then to the other. When you zip it up, we get a small box-purse for small items. You can put yarn, buttons, needles, nail polish, pills, and other small things in it.

One undeniable advantage of such a box is that you always see what's inside. If you have small children, they will definitely find many uses for such a box.

Jewelry Stand

Continuing the theme of storing things, we suggest you make a jewelry stand. For this, we will need:

• bottles - one 2-liter, two 1.5-liter, and one 1-liter;
• a 12-inch threaded rod, which can be purchased at any construction store;
• shims and nuts of the same diameter as the rod;
• an electric drill.

Process:

Trim the bottom of all three bottles.

Use the drill to round off the edges of the bottles so they don't cut you. When working with a drill, always wear protective glasses - small pieces of plastic can get into your eyes.

Drill a hole in the bottom of each bottle equal to the diameter of the rod.

Put the bottoms on the rod, placing them between two shims and nuts. Make sure they are securely fastened to the rod.

The last bottom is mounted in reverse. It will serve as a leg. This results in a beautiful and unusual stand, and most importantly, it's cheap and stylish!
