Children's Room for an Eastern Princess
Eastern culture captivates with its mystery, richness, and uniqueness. We love watching Indian movies, dancing belly dances, and buying Arabic decorations and accessories.
And our little ones are enchanted by Eastern fairy tales and cartoons.
What girl wouldn't dream of becoming an Eastern princess! Especially if she enjoys Arabic dancing and loves to perform for her family and friends. To help your little princess feel like a heroine of an Eastern fairy tale, decorate her bedroom in an Eastern style.

An Eastern Fairy Tale in a Child's Bedroom
The Eastern style involves rich fabrics adorned with golden threads, pillows with tassels and fringe, tapestries, luxurious curtains, and light sheer drapes, an abundance of traditional patterns, vases, statues, and other decorative elements.
The primary colors of the Eastern style include shades of red, pink, birch, gold, beige, orange, and yellow.
The Eastern style is a style of luxury and wealth. But how can it be applied in a little girl's bedroom?
First, you need to decide on the wall color. It is better to make them light, softly pink, beige, or yellow. Choose textured wallpapers with Eastern patterns. If you want to decorate the walls with Eastern ornaments, choose smooth wallpapers without a pattern.
The main element of a child's bedroom in the Eastern style should, of course, be the bed. For your little princess, it will become more than just a bed—it will be a whole palace. Therefore, definitely hang a canopy over the bed. You can make it yourself using cotton fabric or netting and ribbons.

Creating the Atmosphere of an Eastern Festival
In general, the design of a room for an Eastern princess involves canopies not only above the bed. Beautiful silk curtains, light sheer drapes, and ribbons can decorate windows, wardrobes, and doors.
You can add Eastern touches to the room with colorful pillows adorned with golden threads, fringed or patterned with Eastern motifs. Place them on the bed, on child-sized chairs, or arrange them on the floor in a pyramid by stacking one pillow on top of another in descending order.
Bedding and throws can also be purchased with Eastern elements, for example, with an image of a luxurious Arabic palace.
All little girls know that Eastern princesses, such as Jasmine from the movie "Aladdin," have their own beauty corner. You can create a small boudoir. It will include a decorative table and a chair with curved legs. Also, a mirror with lace framing. Your little princess will be able to store her cosmetics, combs, hairpins, and elastic bands on the table.
You can hang frames with images of Eastern dancers or princesses on the walls. You can also make these frames yourself. For this, attach or glue cotton fabric to a light wooden frame on all four sides, so that the fabric slightly hangs over. Tie a ribbon in the center at the top of the frame. That's it—the frame-canopy is ready. You can make several colorful frames and hang them on the wall.

If you plan to install shelves on the walls, make them in a rounded shape. On these shelves, you can hang veils, place beads, gilded ornaments, coins, pyramids, and Eastern statues.
Don't forget about rugs. First, your princess will be able to play on them, and secondly, they make an excellent addition to the Eastern interior. Rugs can be round or square with patterns.
And to make your little princess feel truly like a character in an Eastern fairy tale, buy her a short cape, pants with a wide leg, and slippers on straps. Also, bracelets and tinkling ribbons for the thighs.
