Glass partitions have become popular not so long ago. In general, they are very useful, especially for owners of small apartments. With these partitions, you can visually zone space without losing valuable square meters. Usually, we can see such structures in showers. Now let's move beyond the bathroom and place glass partitions in the living room or kitchen.

1. Material

These partitions are made from tempered glass and installed from floor to ceiling. It's very convenient to apply various designs on them (sandblasting, full-color printing).

Glass partitions can also be made from different types of glass using various techniques. Installing mobile glass partitions adds variety to your interior and allows you to reconfigure the space at any time. These structures don’t require fixing and, thanks to roller mechanisms at the bottom, can easily be moved from one place to another when needed.

2. Benefits

As we’ve already mentioned, the main benefit of glass partitions is creating a full sense of space in the room (even if you choose a frosted glass color). Additionally, partitions can be soundproof, helping you easily separate sleeping areas from the living room where you can watch TV without disturbing others in the evening.

3. Types

There are two ways to divide space using glass partitions. The first is a transformable partition, which can fold like an accordion or slide into the wall using special frames. The second is a stationary type, where only a small part of the modules is movable. This type most resembles a glass wall with a glass door.

4. Applications

Such partitions are commonly found in large offices of major companies. However, they are also frequently used in interior design. Glass partitions suit almost any interior due to their unobtrusive nature, though they are most often used in hi-tech and Scandinavian-style interiors.
