This residence in Portugal, designed by the architecture firm Carvalho Araújo, is located in hilly terrain at the edge of a village. The house features a simple form, with its volume rising above the ground and organizing the lower level space. A swimming pool is situated on the roof, reminiscent of a former water reservoir on the site. The space beneath the slope houses the living room and kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The rooms are arranged around an inner courtyard, ensuring good natural lighting and ventilation.
