This residence in Portugal, designed by the architecture firm Carvalho Araújo, is located in hilly terrain at the edge of a village. The house features a simple form, with its volume rising above the ground to organize the lower level space. A swimming pool is situated on the roof, reminiscent of a former water reservoir on the site. The space beneath the slope accommodates the living room and kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The rooms are arranged around an internal courtyard, ensuring good natural lighting and ventilation.
