Fast-erected house in São Paulo
The SysHaus project presented by architects Studio Arthur Casas serves as a showcase for a fast-erected house in São Paulo, Brazil. The 206-square-meter home represents a new concept of modern living, where efficiency, comfort, and sustainability are not just ideals but practical realities.
The standard house is designed using efficient systems and recycled materials, eliminating the need for modifications to integrate sustainable solutions. The design includes a rainwater harvesting and reuse system, photovoltaic panels for energy generation, and organic waste conversion into gas for kitchen and fireplace operation. The green roof naturally contributes to thermal and acoustic comfort.
The energy-efficient system minimizes electricity costs and features automation capabilities. Smart locks, security cameras, and water management systems are just some of the options clients can include. Each residence is customized to the individual client, who can choose from various options based on price and delivery time.
The demonstration model features standard finishes, furniture, accessories, and utilities. Developed by Studio Arthur Casas in collaboration with major companies and local manufacturers, all decorative elements are modular and standalone. Wardrobes and kitchens, typically fixed, are delivered as modules. This allows them to be easily disassembled and reinstalled at a new location in case of relocation.
