Located in an olive grove on the southern Peloponnese, this summer residence by architecture studio LASSA stands out for its original roof shaped like the Greek letter Y (Ypsilon), offering benefits both as an additional space and a chance to enjoy scenic views. The roof's branching defines three internal semi-circular courtyards, suitable for various activities depending on the sun's position.
The remote location of the object combined with a limited budget and non-standard layout influenced the construction plan, with the main strategy being the off-site manufacturing of its elements, allowing the project to be completed in just 7 months without compromising quality or exceeding the budget. This approach made it possible to minimize the use of commercial products filling store shelves, instead favoring local materials and craftsmen.
